Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by William P. Nixon. Prominent here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9817 and an "EF" Class B-unit whose road number is not recorded. Both were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9817 is an EF-15A constructed in May of 1951. Note the extra-large 'Keystone' on the nose door! The exact date and the location are not recorded. |
