| UP Big Boy 4-8-8-4 #4014 begins to accelerate after a stop in California, MO on 8-31-2021. Tracks are part of the UP Sedalia sub. Note how little smoke is visible, only steam from the safety valve. The whistle had a sound you would have to hear to appreciate! A big word of appreciation for all the folks who were respectful, staying a safe distance from the tracks, taking nothing but pictures. |
