Originally built in 1947 by American Car & Foundry as Central of Georgia #542 segregated coach car (white & black passengers had separate seating sections) It was used on the Nancy Hanks II streamliners that operated between Atlanta and Savannah, Ga. Later it was renumbered CG #672 and sold along with its sister #671 to Algoma Central as their #443. it's a 68-seat coach, now repainted as Milwuakee Road #203 "Nokomis" and part of the RR Heritage of Midwest America roster. |
