Here is page 48 of Mahlon J. Baumgardner & Floyd G. Hoenstine's 1952 monograph entitled "The Allegheny Old Portage Railroad: 1834-1854." The illustration is entitled "Inclined Plane No. 4." Caption: "Located east of Lilly. The Allegheny Portage roadbed between the foot of this plane and Summit, including Level No. 5, Plane No. 6, and Level No. 7, is now used as a highway."
