NS (Nederlandse Spoorwegen - Dutch Rwy) operates this VIRM double decker train in the Netherlands. "VIRM" stands for Verlengd InterRegio Materieel (Lengthened interregional rolling stock) which are coupled EMU cars. This particular VIRM is a first generation after its predecessor DD-IRM model and were built starting in 2002. Rare to see graffiti on passenger trains in Europe. The actual car number is #4910 in the train set numbered 8637. |
