| Illinois Central 2-8-2 Mikado #1804 seen here in the Proviso yard (IL) started out as a Baldwin 2-8-2 marked Illinois Central #1546 (serial #41448) built in May of 1914. The IC shops rebuilt and renumbered it in February of 1944 to IC #1504. In November of 1949, it was renumbered again to IC 1804 as seen here. It served nearly 41 years before being scrapped in 1955. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
