Shown here is a part of Dean Cornwell's 1943 calendar painting called "Serving The Nation." Depicted therein is a portion of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6713, an M-1A (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during April of 1930 and retired in December of 1956 after 26 years of service. |
