Built by EMD in December of 1952 for the Algoma Central RR, AC GP7 #170 served the line well. It was eventually sold to Wiconsin Central in 1995 and renumbered WC #1508. It continued its service there until reitrement and scrapping in May of 2004. Sister unit AC GP7 #161 was peeking in from behind #170 in the picture. An unknown rail fan took the color slide. |
