Originally built as Chicago, Milwaukee & St Paul #2144 by ALCO-Brooks in February of 1909, the loco was renumbered several times - in 1912 to CMStP #5643, in 1927 to CMStP&P #5643 and finally in 1938 to MILW 954. After nearly 46 years of service the loco was retired and scrapped in December of 1955. Unknown photographer |
