Used as a rolling kitchen during World War II. It later served on the wreck trains for the Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railroad and later on the Missouri Pacific. Ironically, its service on that railroad ended when the wreck crane itself was wrecked. Thankfully, this piece of history ended up here. |
