The Virginia Railway Exrpess has broght life to the old Richmond, Fredricksburg & Potomac platforms. V30 was once Amtrak 403, and wasy cycleb through VMV in Paducah. This unit started life as one of the F40PHR "rebuilds" built with parts from traded in SDP40Fs (which were less than ten years old at the time). She was delivered to Amtrak December >987, and was part of their last order for these units. |
